The subject line kinda says it all..........

Okay  virtually_chuck  posted a list of concerts he has been to, and you're supposed to keep the ones on the list you have been to, and asterisk, (I love that word!) the ones already there.......  that you have seen as well, and add new ones to the list that you don't see, and delete ones you haven't....  sorry to announce, but if I list all Chuck's bands, my list will be fully deleted.....  hahaha! 

So I am listing concerts I have been to...... I'm trying to recall them in order as I went but I am getting old you know? hahaha..... 

Here goes:

1. Scorpions! (hell yes they freakin kicked ass!) I was 14, Bon Jovi was opener.
2. Ozzy Osbourne (Metallica opened for Ozzy, how funny huh?)
3. Aerosmith
4. Lynyrd Skynrd (twice!)
5. 38 Special
6. Motley Crue (twice!) omg killer shows!!!
7. Hank Williams, Jr.


There's a few more but damn I can't remember them atm..... 
I was a po' girl what can I say...... ? 
Ticket prices sky rocketed in the 90's so I missed quite a few 
concerts then.....  plus I was busy being a mom..... *shrugs*

I think it is so cute when 
boys and girls, connect
when they are young.

They then turn into,
Men and women... 
That  friendship builds, a bond
created.

On that spiritual level....
The one where the physical
never rears it's head. 
(best of friends)

Combining thoughts and 
finishing sentences.
Knowing something is funny
without a word being spoken.

Looking your worst but 
feeling your best just 
because "he or she" is 
there....  beside you.
Comforting you.

I often wonder these things.....

I wish I could go back in time
and remember the smile he
gave me when our eyes 
first met.

Remember how they twinkled
yet, I never noticed.
(I notice now)

He still somehow captures my 
breath, and I never even have
to hear him utter a sound.

If love is friendship and
friendship is love....
Why are we always searching?
Looking for the "next best thing?" 

When all we need or could ever
want, is right there in front of our
eyes.
The unconditional love of a friend.

I never asked him if he "loved" me
in that way....... 

I didn't have to.

I knew it within my heart and 
through to my soul....
That he was the love of my life....
